Body Gel Hints and Tips
FOR BEST RESULTS:
1. Visualize the finished design:
Know what you are going to paint before you start. Don’t make it up as you go along.
Have a basic design fixed in your mind; you can always add special touches once you’re
finished.
2. Be patient. Think thin:
Rather than applying one thick layer of gel, which may crack, apply a thin layer, let it
dry, then apply another. Let the first color dry before applying a second, or move to
another area(s) and repeat, then return to the first area. If you don’t, they’ll mix and
you’ll probably have to wipe it off and start again.
3. Use Stencils:
If you’re not confident painting freehand, or are short of time, why not use a stencil?
Stars, hearts, flowers will all stencil onto skin. Have stencils in a few sizes on hand, to
allow for small and larger designs.
Using a blow-dryer over the finished design will cause the gel to dry faster as well as
increase brightness quicker. Keep the blow-dryer a safe distance from skin to avoid
injury.
4. Cleanup and Removal:
Use the enclosed Clean Wipe for hands and drips on skin. Additional tissues/wipes may
be needed. Body painting can be messy, but it’s fun! To remove completely, simply
wash off with soap and water.
